The Red Ski House was completely renovated internally in 2006. Modern western style furnishings and bedding are designed to make your stay comfortable and luxurious. Curl up with a book or magazine or mix with our other guests watching a dvd, playing a board game or sharing your skiing and boarding experiences.

BATHROOM FACILITIES
The Red Ski House has 4 showers with separate change rooms (2 male, 2 female), 6 toilets (3 male and 3 female) and 5 vanity basins. These facilities were largely new for 2007 and are located across 2 levels.
OTHER GUEST INFORMATION
The Red Ski House is adjacent to Shuttle Bus Stop No.4 and provides extremely convenient access to and from the slopes.
The Red Ski House is strictly non smoking and will adhere to the Japanese tradition of leaving all footwear in the entrance area, house slippers are provided.
Guest amenities are located on the ground and first floor, these include western toilets, showers and vanities.
Many traditional onsens (hot thermal baths) are available in the village & surrounding area.
The village has a well stocked grocery store but free nightly shuttle buses run into the near by town of Kutchan for more serious shopping.
We are able to assist you with arranging ski and boarding rental equipment, lessons and lift passes and our recommended travel agents assist you with arranging flights.
The village has many ski shops which sell and rent ski clothing & equipment.
Whilst major credit cards are generally accepted, it is a good idea to bring yen with you as the village is a cash society, travellers cheques can be exchanged in the village and in nearby Kutchan within bank hours.
Most major ATM are accepted in nearby Kutchan for cash withdrawals.
Good waterproof après boots are a must when walking around the village in winter
110v power adaptors are required to use 240v Australian appliances.
Children under the age of 5 are not recommended at The Red Ski House.
