The Red Ski House was newly renovated for the 2007 winter season with the aim of providing comfortable western style accommodation within a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the powder heaven that is Niseko, Japan. The Red Ski House is situated in the picturesque middle village area of Hirafu, a quiet part of the village with many good restaurants and bars just a stroll away. In the ski season a shuttle bus service runs continuously from the lodge to the ski lifts all day. DESTINATION NISEKO
Niseko is located on the Northern island of Japan, just 120km from Sapporo. It is one of the largest and most popular ski areas in Japan, boasting 38 lifts including a variety of gondolas and high speed detachable chairlifts. The Niseko area lays claim to the best quality powder snow in the world with only 8% water content and often receives snowfalls in excess of 15 metres in a single season.
The snow experience in Niseko is truly unique and the pace is entirely up to you. Feel the rush as you glide through some of the most amazing powder snow with your mates. Soak up the Japanese culture in a variety of restaurants to suit any budget, have a relaxing hot thermal bath at one of the many local onsens, relive the days ski experiences in some truly unique local bars, or have some holiday fun with the whole family.
